Editing

The Editors

• Default is the (WordPress standard) Block Editor
• The Elementor editor is only available for pages, not for Posts or Webinars. It should only be used if you need it.

Using the Block Editor

• Just start typing. After pushing “Return”, a new block starts.
• Inserting non-standard text and other widgets: type “/” (slash) at the beginning of a block. A menu will appear. Select a block type.

The most common block types are

• /image – you can upload an image. Afterwards you can format the image, e.g. giving it a size (see right side controls)
• /heading – e.g. H2 (or H3 for subheadings). Di not use H1, this is reserved for the page title

Creating a Webinar

• Click New -> Webinar
• put the abstract into the content area
• fill the other fields: date, author, biography
• add a featured image. It will be shown in the lists of webinars
• Publish

Adding the recording to a Webinar

• on the webinar page, click “Edit”
• replace the image by a screenshot (recommended)
• insert the youtube link into the “Video” field
• Update
