Important: If you plan to submit an abstract for a presentation or a workshop, please do it asap, at:
Submit your abstract
If you are planning anything unusual, please email metaphorum.org@gmail.com as soon as possible to outline your ideal requirements—such as the date, duration, resources, room setup, and assistance. We will do our best to accommodate these requests, though final arrangements will depend on the total number of scheduled sessions.
There will be structured, participatory dialogue that engages the participants throughout the conference. On the first morning we will co-create a number of opening questions to be explored during the conference. We will revisit these questions by the end of each day and reflect on the learning on the last afternoon to consider what practical steps we can take to respond to the question : “What will we tell our grandchildren ?”
Attendees include researchers, consultants , practitioners, and Metaphorum certified VSM Coaches, as well as students from the UK Systems Apprenticeship and other postgraduate VSM students.
We will all have the opportunity to discuss our experiences learning about and applying the VSM in Master Classes facilitated by M Pfiffner, J Perez-Rios (tbc) and A Espinosa.
Allenna Leonard and Juliana Alves will lead a Team Syntegrity (TS) taster workshop for participants interested in experiencing TS – in responding to some of the opening questions of the conference. It will be followed by an on-line presentation by Joe Truss describing the latest developments on Team Syntegrity.
While we still have places available, if you haven’t yet registered, but are planning to attend, we will appreciate you registering as soon as possible. We have a deadline of Thursday 19th June , to inform the catering services of the number of people attending. If you register after that date, they won’t be able to provide you with food and drink.
Regarding publications there will be an update in the next few weeks on the special issue in Systemic Practice and Action Research which will accept the best contributions from the conference to be submitted early in 2026 (and maybe other journals as well).
Looking forward to seeing you in July.
The conference team.
