Iteration One

Wizard prang should be published in whole or in part in multiple forms:

  1. Magazine instalments
  2. Web one or two chapters (or e-mail )
  3. Paper form – book
  4. Something on TV
  5. Speaking book

We are agreed that we need to come up with some new forms as Stafford did the best possible version of the form he used.

We are wrestling with the oxymoron of “The idiot’s guide to management cybernetics”

  1. “The Society” shall gather and publish in any forms possible contemporary two-page case studies of management cybernetics from industry and government.
  2. “The Society” shall form a non-censoring, peer review and resource group to encourage and support authors of new management cybernetics books.
  3. “The Society” shall form a non-censoring, peer review and resource group to encourage and support authors of new management cybernetics games.

Outcome Resolve

We recommend that all groups develop concrete action plans with immediate timelines and specific volunteers to ensure that selected tasks actually occur.

“The society” shall approach the Cwarel Isaf institute for the permission to publish Wizard Prang on the web in monthly serial instalments and in a paper form in parallel.

Allenna has volunteered to approach the Cwarel Isaf institute. If permission is granted, Ian has volunteered to publish the pdf book and to set up a web site. Wayne has volunteered to do the paper version. We are seeking a volunteer to proof read the electronic Wizard Prang files and format them into a visually appealing .pdf format.

“The Society” shall ask for volunteers and a chairperson to gather and publish in any forms possible contemporary two-page case studies of management cybernetics from industry and government. Patrick Hoverstadt has volunteered as the initial chairperson.

“The Society” shall ask for volunteers and a chairperson to form a non censoring peer review and resource group to encourage and support authors of new management cybernetics book. This peer review group should include lay readers who will ensure accessibility issues. We encourage the development of more accessible management cybernetics books.

“The Society” shall ask for volunteers and a chairperson to form a non censoring peer review and resource group to encourage and support authors of new management cybernetics games.
